AboutJenni’s career includes that of teacher, performer, and clinician. She has performed in a variety of ensembles across the country, worked in and around diverse school music programs, and maintained a private studio in Syracuse teaching both flute and piano. Jenni has been featured live on WCNY-FM as a member of Viriditas Flute Trio and broadcasts of recorded live performances. Educated at Taylor University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Music, Jenni holds both the Bachelors and the Masters degrees in flute performance. She has performed in master classes with Trevor Wye and Marina Piccinini and studied with Bonita Boyd and Deborah Egekvsit among others. Teaching experiences have taken her to diverse positions, including serving as guest clinician in Guilford County, North Carolina; UNCG Summer Music Camp; First Baptist Church Summer Choir Camp Instructor (Greensboro, NC); and Cathedral Academy at Pompei After School Music Program (Syracuse, NY). She has written articles for Flute Talk, including “The Differences Between Metals” (July/Aug 2010) and “Building a Network” (October 2013).
Most recently, Jenni and her family relocated to Lewis, NY for her husband's work. Jenni and Charlie are excited to raise their boys in such a beautiful spot with plenty of opportunities to get outside! |
